different DAV schools from Jaipur cluster participated actively
in sessions taken by master trainers : Mrs. Amita Nadheria, Mrs.
Jyoti Sharma, Mrs. Gunjan Sanan and Mrs. Himani Mudgal. The
trainee teachers enriched them selves with the latest techniques
of pedagogy in social science. |

2 - Day Capacity
Building Programme in Science
(15 & 16 Oct.,
2016)
Under the aegis of DAV CAE, New Delhi & Rajasthan Regional
Training Centre, Jaipur Cluster, Suratgarh Thermal DAV Public
School conducted a 2 day Capacity Building Programme for science
teachers on 15 & 16 Oct., 2016.
Around 20
science teachers as participants have attended the session
respectively from DAV Behror, DAV Srivijaynagar, DAV Hanumangarh
& DAV Suratgarh Thermal. Presence of the Regional Director Sh.
A. K. Sharma, Manager Sh. R. K. Verma added more significance.
The
Principal and the resource person Mrs. Masooma Singha very well
presented and involved participants to equip with subject
related latest inclusion through hands on activity, discussions,
role plays, tasks, lesson planning & Videos based modules. It
was a practical approach to learn & include constructivism,
Gender sensitivity, techniques of question framing concept of
multiple intelligence and activities for science exhibition for
subject related teaching & learning. Solutions were suggested
for the challenging areas of the subject. It was one more step
towards professional growth. |

Workshop on Gender Sensitivity &
Life Skills
(July 9 to 10, 2016)
Two
days workshop was held in Suratgarh Thermal DAV
Public School Suratgarh, on July 9 to 10, 2016. It was an
endeavour to enrich and train the teachers from both English &
Hindi medium. 40 teachers availed the opportunity to be
benefited from the session, excellently planned and executed by
the Honorable Principal Mrs. Masooma Singha.
Mrs. Singha was also the resource person and had very
elaborately explained the topics i.e. Life Skills & Gender
Sensitivity through videos, handouts, worksheets, simulations,
role plays, brainstorming, group discussions, question & answers
etc. The Chief Guest Sh. M L Sharma (CE, SSTPS) complimented the
Principal for conducting the session. |

Day workshop was held at DAV Centenary Public School,
Hanumangarh on Oct. 17, 2014, under the direction of
DAVCAE and worthy Regional Director Dr. Rajesh Kumar, workshop
was attended by aprox. 15 delegates including the Principals &
teachers from different DAV schools.

Day workshop was held at DAV Public School Kota on Sept 12 and
13, 2014 on Role of Regional Training Centre Under the aegis of
DAVCAE (DAV Centre for Academic Excellence). Mrs. Rashmi Chari
was the Resource person, Regional Director Sh. M L Goel presided
in the workshop and was attended by aprox.35 delegates including
the Principals & teachers from different DAV schools. |

Workshop
on Financial Management, Effective Communication Skills,
Computer Skills and e-working was held on 22-May-2014 at DAV
Regional Centre for Academic Excellence, DAV Centenary Public
School, Jaipur. 5 staff members from English, Computer and
Account Deptt. attend the workshop. Mr. D Rawat, Principal ST
DAV was invited as a resource person to conduct Financial
Management Prog. RD Dr. Rajesh Kumar & Mr. M. L. Goel were the
eminent gestures.

Development Programme.
The training
Programme was attended by 30 staff members, which comprised
of Power Point Presentation, Group activities, Gauging self
understanding, Games, Inspirational & Motivating video
